Daniel P. Gallagher, Jr. is Chair of the Private Client Services practice. Mr. Gallagher advises families, family offices, and business owners on all aspects of maintaining and transferring wealth. He also has substantial experience handling business and financial transactions, including merger and acquisition work for companies of all sizes.

Dan is a Pittsburgh native who now resides in Fox Chapel Borough with his wife, Eileen, and their three dogs and a cat. They also have two adult sons.

  • Develop lifetime and testamentary plans for the protection and transfer of family assets.
  • Serve as fiduciary (executor, trustee, or attorney-in-fact) as requested by clients.
  • Assist with estate settlements, trust administrations and terminations, and winding up other fiduciary accounts – including international and multinational matters.
  • Represent beneficiaries of estates, trusts, and other fiduciary accounts.
  • Serve as general counsel to closely held businesses from creation through sale or other liquidity events.
  • Develop family investment partnerships and other vehicles for joint ownership or use of assets.
