Justin N. Leonelli is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Groups. Justin focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes, often handling matters involving the energy, manufacturing, insurance and construction industries.
Justin earned his J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in June 2016. During law school, Justin served as the Executive Editor of Duquesne Law School’s Energy and Environmental Law Journal as well as a constitutional law student advisor. In 2015, he clerked for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania under the now-Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice, David N. Wecht. Alongside his legal studies, Justin was recognized with a formal proclamation from Pittsburgh’s City Council for his work with the Allegheny County Government Review Commission in conducting a comprehensive analysis of Pittsburgh’s local rules and regulations. In addition, Justin was awarded a number of legal writing accolades during law school, including two “CALI Excellence for the Future Awards” for the highest grade in his class in both Legal Research and Writing and Advanced Legal Writing, as well as a “Best Appellate Brief” transcript notation.

Justin grew up in Youngstown, Ohio where he attended Cardinal Mooney High School. He now resides in a northern suburb of Pittsburgh.
