Kevin F. McKeegan is the former Managing Partner of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP (2006-2011) and is a member of the Corporate & Business Law Practice Group and the Real Estate & Lending Practice Group.  His broad practice includes land use and zoning, acquisition and development of commercial real estate, corporate planning and transactions, and commercial lease transactions. 

Since 1984, Kevin has served as counsel for the Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, the sponsor of the world’s largest trade show of specialized chemical equipment.  He and his wife, Sybil, reside in the Fox Chapel area and are the parents of three adult children and have four lovely granddaughters. They are eager – if not particularly fast – cyclists who have toured at least 8 states and two countries by bike.

  • Representing local university in property acquisition and development approvals for campus expansion and development.
  • Representing developer in obtaining special zoning approval for a multi-phase, 600+ unit multi-family development of a large former warehouse site in the City of Pittsburgh.
  • Working with a developer client and the City of Pittsburgh Planning Department to create a “special planning” district for new mixed-use development.
  • Representing property owners in acquiring and repositioning older office buildings for multi-family and mixed-use purposes, including New Market and federal Historic Tax Credit equity investments in the projects.
  • Advising out-of-state client on acquisition of ownership interests and assets of skilled nursing facilities in western Pennsylvania.
  • Advising developer of new regional shopping mall including property acquisition, zoning approval, and TIF bond financing for infrastructure improvements.
  • Representing the purchaser in the acquisition of 60,000 plus acres of timber land in Northwestern Pennsylvania and subsequent financing via PennVest for conservation easements and other non-point source storm water control measures.
