Biography

Robert Mauro was the Managing Partner of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP, from 1990 through 2005. He is a member of the firm’s Real Estate & Lending Group.  Mr. Mauro practices primarily in the areas of commercial real estate and lending, commercial leasing, and real estate acquisition and development.

An avid sports fan, Mr. Mauro has been inducted into the Penn Hills High School Sports Hall of Fame.

He is the proud father of three Cornell Alumni: Dr. Craig Mauro and Reid Mauro both of Pittsburgh and Emily Mauro Greaney of London, England.

Representative Matters

  • Mr. Mauro’s practice includes the representation of several significant local Pittsburgh area developers.
  • Represented developers in major office building sales and acquisitions, residential development projects, and resort and golf course developments.
  • Actively involved in the representation of lending institutions, including numerous national insurance companies and several local banking institutions.
  • Primarily in charge of lending transactions for the firm and has closed all types of commercial real estate transactions.
  • Actively involved in representing lending institutions in workout and debt restructuring arrangements, participation arrangements, and in related lending matters.
