Congratulations to Beth Slagle on being named as one of the 2024 Pittsburgh Business Times Women of Influence! Beth is being recognized for her pro bono and nonprofit board service, as well as her trailblazing efforts advocating for the advancement of women in the legal profession.
As board chair of 412 Food Rescue since its early days, Slagle has helped the nonprofit to fight food insecurity by diverting more than 29 million pounds of food bound for waste in western Pennsylvania.
In addition to her work as the board chair of 412 Food Rescue, Beth also serves as the board secretary of Grounded, as a board member of both Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and the Civil Law Project of the Women’s Center & Shelter, and is a member of the advisory board of Chatham University’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship.
