Pittsburgh, PA July 3, 2023 – Pittsburgh law firm Meyer, Unkovic & Scott announced that Chad I. Michaelson, a partner and member of the firm’s Management Committee, has been elected the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County.

Chad handles complex disputes that often involve highly technical subject matter. He has litigated difficult construction claims on both public and private construction projects and obtained several multi-million dollar verdicts and awards for his clients. He has experience with real property and land use cases, interpretation and enforcement of building codes, insurance matters, closely-held corporate governance disputes, the defense of tort claims and a diverse mix of breach of contract cases.
Chad chairs the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1999 and his B.A. in Political Science and History from West Virginia University in 1996.
