Chiara F. Orsini graduated magna cum laude from Chatham College, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. She is a 2000 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she served as a research editor of the Law Review. Ms. Orsini was awarded a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
While at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Ms. Orsini worked extensively with the University’s Office of Technology Transfer. She researched and wrote patentability reports and performing market analyses primarily in the fields of biotechnology, medical devices, chemistry, biochemistry, and electrical devices. She also interned with the Honorable Donetta Ambrose, U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Orsini published an article entitled “Protecting an Employer’s Human Capital: Covenants not to Compete and the Changing Business Environment,” in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Law Review.
Ms. Orsini is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the Western District of Pennsylvania, and in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
