Joseph E. Bartoszewicz is Vice Chair of the firm’s Real Estate & Lending Group and Chair of the firm’s Lender Group. Joe has practiced at the firm since his graduation from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1989. He practices in the areas of commercial real estate financing and real estate acquisition and development.

Joe is an avid hiker and road bicyclist and enjoys ultra-endurance day hikes (e.g., Grand Canyon R2R2R and Pemi Loop, and Presidential Traverse – White Mountains, NH) and high mileage bike rides, both locally and throughout the US (e.g., multiple MS 150 rides and century (100 mile) rides and the RAGRAI – Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (500 miles). Joe is also a lifetime fisherman and enjoys fishing for muskies throughout the United States and Canada. Joe is well known in Pittsburgh and its northern suburbs as a middle school and high school basketball coach. Joe was born and raised in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh and now lives in the Town of McCandless with his wife Cindy.
