Dauer focuses his practice on corporate, commercial, real estate, banking and bankruptcy legal matters, as well as litigation. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and serves as the Chair of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Group and its COVID-19 Small Business Relief Group. In 1990, Dauer received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. He received his B.A. in Political Science and Business from the University of Pittsburgh College of Arts & Sciences in 1987. He resides in Shadyside area of Pittsburgh, PA.
