Christie has been employed with the law firm of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP since 1990 and has been a member of the Real Estate & Lending Group as a paralegal since 1997. She has many years’ experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions, which includes closing and title work and maintenance and supervision of the firm’s real estate escrow accounts.
Christie previously held the position of Accounting Supervisor at Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP and worked as a legal assistant to a sole practitioner.
Christie has served as the Vice President and a Board Member for the Pittsburgh Paralegal Association (“PPA”), has chaired the Real Estate Specialty Section of the PPA. She has volunteered at the Allegheny County Family Division Protection from Abuse Office and participated as a witness in the annual Academy of Trial Lawyers Mock Trial Competition. She has also served as a Mentor to Duquesne University Student Paralegal Program and the ACBA Student Paralegal Program.
